Position: Manufacturing Technician - Front Half Days

As a Manufacturing Technician
, you will support the build, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of sub-systems used in ASML's advanced lithography equipment. This role includes hands-on assembly, testing, inspection, and process validation activities in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and technical aptitude, experience with electronic assemblies, and the ability to work from detailed procedures and engineering documentation.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Assemble, install, test, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical subassemblies.
  • Utilize standardized hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, lifting equipment, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other specialized test equipment.
  • Perform soldering of small wires and components under a microscope.
  • Support testing, validation, and troubleshooting activities using specialized equipment and detailed work instructions.
  • Work closely with Manufacturing Engineers and Production teams to support process improvements, engineering builds, and special projects.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, Bills of Material (BOMs), routing sheets, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Perform leak testing, Hi-Pot testing, alignments, and other system verification processes.
  • Support pressurization and troubleshooting of gas and water systems using helium and other testing methods.
  • Apply labels and markings to modules and assemblies in accordance with workmanship and cleanliness standards.
  • Maintain accurate production records and complete transactions within ERP systems.
  • Support inventory tracking, material movement, and production reporting activities.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to 5S and safety standards.
  • Follow all cleanroom protocols, quality requirements, and safety procedures.
  • Train and mentor team members on assembly, testing, and troubleshooting processes as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree in Electronics, Manufacturing Technology, Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, or related technical field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, production testing, electronics, semiconductor, aerospace, medical device, or similar technical environments preferred.
  • Experience using electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical tools required.
  • Experience working in a cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.
Skills and Competencies
  • Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Experience with soldering, cable assembly, and electronic component installation preferred.
  • Experience with calibration, metrology equipment, precision measurements, or inspection processes preferred.
  • Working knowledge of SAP and manufacturing ERP systems preferred.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and identify issues in complex electro-mechanical systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and communicate technical information effectively.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and contamination control procedures preferred.
  • Experience using specialized test equipment (e.g., torque wrenches, electric and pneumatic screwdrivers, ball drivers, lifting equipment, computers, oscilloscopes, multimeters, voltage/current probes, leak test equipment, Hi-Pot testers, helium sniffers, calibration and metrology equipment) to assemble, install, remove, test, troubleshoot, and validate sub-system assemblies and modules.
Work Schedule
- Front Half Days (Compressed Work Week)

6:30 AM - 7:00 PM Sunday
- Tuesday and every other Wednesday

Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Routinely required to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and use hands and fingers.
  • Frequently required to perform detailed assembly and inspection work.
  • May occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
