As a Production Test Technician 2 at Northrop Grumman, you will have a challenging and rewarding opportunity to be a part of our Communications Solutions Business Unit as a member of the F22 CNI team.
What You'll Get To Do- Test, troubleshoot, and repair CNI hardware from full assemblies to the component level following written test procedures and provide feedback to engineering as needed for process improvements.
- Operate test equipment, environmental chambers, multimeters, oscilloscopes, network/signal analyzers, signal generators, power supplies, torque wrenches, etc.
- Read and interpret schematics, engineering drawings, technical publications, maintenance manuals, and written instructions to troubleshoot, repair, and assemble modules, subassemblies, and systems.
- Conduct tests and report data in the prescribed format, using predetermined methods, sequences, and setups to inspect or test specific equipment or products.
- Follow all program and site security requirements.
- The ideal candidate must be able to lift 30 lbs.
- Pay attention to detail with a focus on quality output, work in a team environment where daily communication and interaction are required, be willing to work in a production and repair environment with production goals and deadlines
- Perform work responsibilities with limited supervision.
- Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that includes extended shifts, may include holidays, and weekends as required.
Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for you to join our team as a Production Test Technician 2 based out of San Diego, CA
.
May be assigned to work 1st or 2nd shift.
Basic Qualifications Production Test Technician 2- High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 2 years of industry-related experience.
- Other relevant experience or education (military, completed or ongoing advanced education, etc.) may be acceptable in lieu of direct electronics technician experience.
- Experience in testing and troubleshooting RF electronics
- Experience with reading and interpreting schematics and drawings
- MS Office experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- US Citizenship required
- Active Secret clearance.
- SAP clearances/experience.
