• A Equipment Maintenance Technician will perform preventative maintenance and scheduled repairs on various production and facility equipment. May also perform emergency repairs and assist with equipment installations as needed.

• Perform Repairs and equipment installations throughout manufacturing facility

• Dismantle devices to gain access to parts requiring inspection or repair

• Inspect equipment systems to a level that will identify possible failures and repair or schedule repairs as needed

• Communicate the completion of all work performed by filling out a maintenance request or a preventative maintenance form

• Communicate the status of all incomplete tasks verbally and/or via e-mail to the technician taking over the task or the Maintenance Manager

• Adhere to all environmental, safety and health policies plans and procedures

• Complete all departmental documentation neatly, completely and accurately

• Train other technicians in the skills required to perform preventative maintenance on equipment

• Follow all safety measures when handling chemicals and hazardous waste with regard to use, mixing and disposing chemicals

• Knowledge and experience in applying general maintenance practices, mechanical aptitude, and ability to correctly and safely use manual and power tools

• Exceptional attention-to-detail and capable of reading and following technical/construction instructions, operation manuals, equipment install specifications, schematics, and diagrams. Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, P& IDs, and technical as-built will be a plus

• General computer skills and ability to complete electronic work orders, enter data into systems, and send emails

• Able to read, write, and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job.

• Ability to troubleshoot electro-magnetic equipment would be a plus

• Solution-focused mindset; recommend and implement improvements to processes increasing efficiency and see projects through to completion

• Mathematical ability sufficient to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and calculate averages

• Ability to work 8-10 hour days, standing for most of the shift

• Able to lift and carry 75 lbs.

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record; ability to safely drive a box truck, van, or company car

• Regular attendance is an essential job function of this position

• Overtime, weekend, and on-call availability is required

• Due to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) requirements,
  applicants must be a U.S. Citizen

Additional compensation:
An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.

Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
