Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Supervisor to lead our dynamic Pediatrics and Family Medicine teams. This is a pivotal leadership role for a nurse who thrives in a fast‑paced clinical environment, excels in mentoring others, and is driven to elevate care standards for patients across the lifespan.

Responsibilities
  • Manage daily staffing for assigned clinic operations, including call outs and coverage.
  • Supervise and support LVN's, MA's and support staff across Pediatrics and Family Medicine clinics.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth patient flow, schedule efficiency and timely resolution of issues.
  • Provide clinical expertise, coaching, and real‑time training to ensure safe and high‑quality care.
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, and staff competency assessments.
  • Monitor compliance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and documentation requirements.
  • Partner with providers, practice manager, and leadership to support strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
  • Maintain readiness for audits, quality metrics, regulatory requirements, and interdisciplinary coordination.
  • Ensure nursing practice reflects established standards of care and a culture that promotes patient safety.
  • Ensure the safe transition of patients through the continuum of care, including active participation of nursing staff in planning and coordinating patient care, and direct hand‑off to the next appropriate level of care.
  • Under the general direction of the Manager/Director, share leadership responsibilities for the nursing staff (LVNs and MAs), including managing daily staffing plans.
  • Responsible for managing and maintaining schedules for optimal efficiency.
  • Work in partnership with Management and Physicians to ensure quality and efficiency in the management of patient care.
  • Manage and develop clinical staff.
  • Contribute to operations management of assigned business unit(s).
  • Participate in budget planning and management.
  • Take proactive initiative in quality management.
Qualifications – Required
  • At least two years applicable clinical experience.
  • Requires excellent skills in communication, problem‑solving, team development, planning and follow‑through.
