White Sands, a Human Good life plan community (CCRC) in beautiful La Jolla, CA, is seeking a full‑time AMCNA to work in our Wellness Department. You will develop awareness of residents’ interests and needs and assist residents to maximize their independence. You will help create a safe environment in which to provide care.

Shift: Full‑time AM shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM), 4/2 rotations.

Pay range: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience.

• Certified Nursing Assistant certificate with at least 1 year experience as a CNA.

• Provide effective and courteous service to all residents, family members, guests, and team members; communicate clearly and handle conflicts appropriately.
• Engage residents in participation in daily activities, including desired hygiene, grooming, and mobility.
• Be proactive in organizing care and alerting the interdisciplinary team (IDT) to needed changes in the resident’s plan of care.
• Identify the resident’s needs, wants, and preferences, and encourage autonomy and decision‑making.
• Work in collaboration with others to ensure each resident has the necessary supplies, equipment, materials, and resources to continue to pursue interests individually or in cooperation with others.
• Accurately report unusual symptoms and problems of residents to supervisor.
