Join Scripps Health as Registered Nurse, Dialysis where you will provide specialized nursing care to hospitalized patients with acute or chronic kidney disease requiring therapy.
Deliver safe, evidence‑based dialysis treatments, collaborate closely with nephrologists and the interdisciplinary care teams, supervise the certified hemodialysis technician, support patient & family education related to disease management, precept and other duties as assigned.
This role practices to standards of hospital policy, regulatory standards, and professional nursing scope. Expectations include travel to all hospital campuses and on‑call duties, as assigned.
Qualifications- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of California
- American Heart Association BLS
- Must have either 1 year minimum providing hemodialysis treatments or at least 1‑year clinical experience with an additional 6 mo. providing hemodialysis treatments
- Provision of apheresis, peritoneal dialysis, and/or continuous renal replacement therapy (Preferred skills)
