The Hahn School of Nursing and Health Science is a community of progressive scholars in an intellectually rigorous, research‑intensive environment. We invite applications for a full‑time Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor (non‑tenure‑track). The initial appointment is for one year with the possibility of renewal based on performance, department needs, and funding. The successful candidate will have an earned master’s or doctoral degree in nursing, experience teaching Nursing Leadership, and knowledge of clinical placements in the greater San Diego area.

This is a full‑time temporary, benefit‑based position with an anticipated end date of August 31, 2027. The appointment is renewable at the discretion of the University and dependent upon performance and continued funding.

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Doctoral degree (PhD or DNP) from an accredited school of nursing program;
  California RN license.
• Two years of teaching experience in a nursing program.
• Successful completion of a pre‑employment background check and drug screen.
• Degree verification documentation upon hire.

• Experience teaching Nursing Leadership.
• Familiarity with clinical placement opportunities in the San Diego region.

Salary Range: The salary range provided in this posting reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual compensation offered or earned is dependent on experience, education, and other factors including departmental budget.
