Cardiac Registered Nurse – San Diego, CA

A healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to support a cardiovascular services team in a fast-paced procedural care environment. This opportunity is ideal for nursing professionals with strong critical care, emergency, or cardiac experience who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care throughout diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after specialized cardiovascular procedures
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established clinical protocols
  • Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Monitor patient responses and recognize changes requiring immediate intervention
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Educate patients and family members regarding procedures, treatment plans, and recovery expectations
  • Support patient safety initiatives and adherence to clinical standards
  • Assist with workflow coordination and daily operational activities within the department

    Promote a positive patient experience through compassionate, patient-centered care
Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for licensure
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred or required based on role
  • Previous experience in cardiac services, critical care, emergency nursing, or procedural settings preferred
  • Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and clinical decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
