ABOUTTHE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team. In this role, you will support the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing the overall operations of the nursing department. You’ll play a key part in ensuring quality patient care, maintaining regulatory compliance, and fostering a positive and supportive work culture for our nursing team.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Assist the Director of Nursing in managing daily operations of the nursing department.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations and standards of care.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver the highest quality of care.
- Participate in the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
- Holds an active RN license in the state of California.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year in a nursing leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Skilled in working within a sub-acute setting.
- Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
- Certification in nursing administration or related specialty.

As the Assistant Director of Nursing, you will utilize your strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and support the nursing staff.
