Arden Park Post Acute is hiring a detail-oriented LVN Infection Preventionist Nurse to support our Director of Nursing (DON), Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), and Infection Prevention (IP) program.

This is a key clinical leadership support role ideal for an LVN who is passionate about infection control, regulatory compliance, and improving resident outcomes in a skilled nursing / post-acute setting.

• Oversee and support the Infection Prevention & Control Program
• Conduct infection surveillance, audits, and facility rounds
• Track, trend, and report infections per CDC, OSHA, and Public Health guidelines
• Provide staff education, coaching, and in-services
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and CDPH regulations
• Partner with DON, ADON, and interdisciplinary team on clinical initiatives
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation
• Identify risks and implement corrective action plans (QAPI-focused)
• Support broader nurse leadership functions and quality outcomes

• Active California LVN license
• Experience in infection prevention OR strong SNF/post-acute clinical background
• Knowledge of infection control standards (CDC, OSHA, CMS)
• Strong organizational and auditing skills
• Excellent communication and staff education ability
• Leadership mindset with ability to support DON/ADON functions
