Operating Room Nurse, Cardiology, Surgical Assistant

Schedule/Hours:
- Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
- Valid California Registered Nurse license (CA Board of Registered Nursing) - REQUIRED
- Minimum two years of recent, relevant clinical experience
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (AHA BLS Healthcare) - REQUIRED
- Proven experience in CVOR: open heart, circulating, and cardiac robotic procedures - REQUIRED
- Leadership experience (preferred)
- Experience assessing and improving competencies (preferred)
- Scrub experience (preferred)
- Strong skills in physician relations (preferred)
- Proven ability to liaise effectively with sterile processing teams (preferred)
- Circulate in complex cardiovascular operating room procedures, including open heart and cardiac robotic surgeries
- Uphold and exceed standards for patient safety throughout perioperative care
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia teams, and support staff for seamless surgical coordination
- Mentor and support peers by sharing knowledge and encouraging growth in clinical competencies
- Facilitate clear communication channels between surgical and sterile processing teams
- Foster strong, professional relationships with physicians and multidisciplinary stakeholders
- Demonstrate leadership by participating in quality improvement initiatives and coaching colleagues
