About This Role

• Pay: $58 - $80/hour
• Location: San Diego, CA
• Facility: Zion Medical Center
• Department/Unit: PICC Line Placement
• Schedule: Part-time, Day shift

• Provide professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
• Uphold Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures.
• Serve as a leader of the healthcare team and delegate tasks appropriately.
• Develop and contribute to individualized plans of care.
• Monitor patient progress and revise care plans as necessary.
• Ensure patient safety and optimal pain control.
• Document nursing processes and interventions accurately.
• Participate in departmental performance improvement activities.
• Maintain a safe environment by adhering to workplace safety principles.
• Practice customer service standards and ensure patient confidentiality.

• Education:
  • Associate's Degree (ADN) required
• Experience:
  • 1-year recent experience in acute care or ambulatory care
• Licenses &
  
  Certifications:
  
  
  • Registered Nurse License (California)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • PICC didactic course and recent PICC insertion experience may be required
  • Current ONS Provider Card or APHON required if administering chemotherapy
