About This Role

The Staff RN in Med/Surg Oncology at Kaiser Permanente provides professional nursing care, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who are committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

• Pay: $67 - $92/hour
• Location: San Diego, CA
• Facility: Kaiser Permanente
• Schedule: Full Time

• Uphold Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures and applicable laws.
• Serve as a leader of the health care team; delegate tasks appropriately.
• Understand own and team members' scope of practice and elevate issues as appropriate.
• Develop and/or contribute to the individualized plan of care.
• Monitor the patient's progress based on the care plan.
• Ensure effective development and completion of discharge plans.
• Ensure patient safety related to medications and procedures.
• Chart accurately, ensuring documentation reflects nursing processes.
• Discuss patient findings and progress with physicians and the health care team.
• Practice customer service standards and ensure a positive patient care experience.

• Education: Associate's Degree (ADN) required
• Experience: Experienced level required
