Travel Nurse Source  is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Tehachapi, California, 93561!

Job Title:

Registered Nurse - Emergency Room Profession: RN Specialty: RN - ER Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Evening Shift - 36 or 48 hours Hours per

Shift: Start times could vary from 11am, 1pm, or 3pm.

Experience:

Preferred in acute care facility License:
Required Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice

Certifications:

Required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Must-Have:
Required Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification Required Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification Required Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification

Description:

Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff. Coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and professional discretion. Employs independent judgment in providing patient care. Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Analyzes the assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues.

Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes. Implements the plan and coordinates care delivery while promoting health and a safe environment. Evaluates progress toward attaining outcomes. Identifies expected outcomes for the patient or patient's situation. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers in providing care in a safe environment. Provides learning opportunities for patients and family members. Directly provides health information to patients, families, and treatment team members.

Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Commits to the safety and well-being of associates and patients by adhering to required vaccinations. Medical and religious exemptions may apply. Participates in employment verification as mandated.
