Level II Staff RN - Otay Mesa - Obstetrics​/GYN - Per Diem

The Level II Staff RN in Obstetrics/GYN at Kaiser Permanente provides professional nursing care, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who excel in leadership and patient care within a dynamic healthcare environment.

• Pay: $67 - $92/hour
• Location: San Diego, CA
• Facility: Otay Mesa Medical Offices
• Schedule: Per Diem, Day shift (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM)

• Provide professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
• Uphold Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures.
• Serve as a leader of the healthcare team and delegate tasks appropriately.
• Develop and contribute to individualized plans of care.
• Monitor patient progress and revise care plans as needed.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of nursing processes.
• Discuss patient findings and progress with physicians and healthcare team members.
• Practice customer service standards and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Mentor and coach others in unit-specific operations and patient care activities.
• Participate in departmental performance improvement activities.

Education:

• Registered Nurse License (California)

Experience:

• 1-year recent experience in Maternal/Child Health, OB/GYN, or Women's Health in acute care or ambulatory care

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current RN License in California
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
