Schedule: 72 hours per 2-week pay period | 12-hour night shifts
Location: Scripps Mercy San Diego in Hillcrest
This position is eligible for New Hire and Relocation Incentives up to $7K .

As a critical-care nurse working at Scripps Health Mercy San Diego, you’ll join a team of skilled medical professionals who provide superior health services in a caring environment. Our critical-care nurses gain exposure to high acuity cases in:
- Medical
- Surgical
- Medical-cardiac
- Cardiothoracic-surgical
- Respiratory
- Neuro-trauma
- Trauma
We encourage you to join our ICU team of Registered Nurses (RN) at Scripps Mercy San Diego, where the RN will provide direct patient care within the scope of practice. Additional expectations include but not limited to:
- Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes.
- The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision.
- Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
This position is eligible for New Hire and Relocation Incentives up to $7K .

- Internal candidates
- Rehires that left Scripps less than 3 years ago
In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:
- Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
- Must remain in original department/specialty
- Must remain in original Job Title
- Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis andmay result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically notedin your offer letter.
