• Provide professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
• Uphold Kaiser Permanente's Policies and Procedures and applicable laws.
• Serve as a leader of the health care team and delegate tasks appropriately.
• Understand team members' scope of practice and elevate issues as appropriate.
• Mentor, orient, and coach others in unit-specific operations and patient care activities.
• Develop and contribute to individualized plans of care.
• Monitor patients' progress based on the care plan and revise as necessary.
• Ensure patient safety related to medications and procedures.
• Provide optimal pain control and patient comfort.
• Maintain and protect patient confidentiality.
