Job Description
San Diego Bike & Kayak Tours, Inc. is seeking tour guides to lead bike, kayak and snorkel tours. Applicants must be willing and able to do all tours.

We are hiring for both full and part time positions. This is perfect for candidates that have ocean experience and love being on the water!
We are hiring/training now for seasonal positions and are looking for applicants that can work now through Labor Day but prefer candidates that can work through October. This is a seasonal position with the majority of hours available during the summer months.
We prefer candidates that are able to work weekends and all summer holidays.
Work outdoors in a fun, energetic environment at the beach!

- Safely guide 2‑3 bike, kayak, and snorkel tours daily with an emphasis on customer enjoyment, safety, relevant and thorough dialogue, and adapt to the day’s conditions and the customers’ abilities.
- Assist with loading/unloading kayaks and other equipment.
- Handle phone duties, passing out life vests and helmets, and general customer service in the store.
- Drive company vehicles to deliver equipment to the beach and clean equipment after usage.
- Sizing wetsuits for customers and providing rental gear as needed.
- Maintain daily driving record and availability weekend and summer holidays.
- California Driver’s License (good driving record) preferred.
- Current, valid CPR for the Professional Rescuer certification and First Aid certification (both issued by American Red Cross) required before first day of work.
- Ability to work now through Labor Day and preferably through October.
- Weekend availability preferred.
- Part‑time and full‑time guiding positions available.
