Quality Assurance Specialist

Responsibilities

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Quality Assurance professional located in San Diego, CA. The Quality Assurance role involves overseeing all quality control processes, ensuring adherence to quality management policies, and conducting regular quality checks throughout the production process. Responsibilities include implementing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), performing quality inspections, audits, record keeping, documentation maintenance and collaborating with various departments to maintain excellence in product standards and operational processes.

This is a very hands-on position requiring excellent dexterity, a "can-do" attitude as well as an ability to effectively multi-task. • Proficiency in Quality Assurance and Quality Control methodologies
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management systems and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards
• Experience in conducting Quality Auditing of processes, systems, or products
• Ability to analyze data, report findings, and recommend improvements to promote quality standards
• Ability to perform incoming, in-process and final inspections of parts
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience in manufacturing or production environments is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field is preferred
