Job SummaryProvides technical support to the quality and quality engineering (QE) functions | Conducts quality control (QC) inspections on products, materials, components, parts, etc., at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with established quality and reliability standards | Captures and analyzes statistical data from processes to either confirm compliance with established standards or identify deviations from standards | Recommends new or enhanced methods, procedures and standards
Impact of the Role General Profile- Requires basic skills in an analytical or scientific method or operational process
- Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines
- Works with close supervision
- Performs manual tasks according to established procedures
- Performs repetitive and routine inspections, checks, tests and sampling procedures of standard parts, units, equipment, or materials
- Performs inspections of purchased parts, subassemblies or finished company products according to well-defined criteria using standard physical, mechanical and/or electrical measurements.
- Reworks or rejects subassemblies or finished products as required. Performs audits to ensure standards of quality are maintained.
- Accurately documents the results of the inspections and testing.
- Coordinates calibration of test equipment and fixtures.
- Assists in the writing and updating of inspection procedures, protocol and checklists.
- Requires ability to interpret prints, schematics, and drawings.
- Required education and experience:
Vocational/Technical Training Degree and 1-2 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience

Associate's Degree - Discipline/Major:
Technical Degree or equivalent training and experience - Knowledge, skills & abilities:
Oral and written communication skills. Mathematical skills. Computer skills. Technical expertise. Detail oriented.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds.
- May need to stand for long periods of time.
- This position is Safety-Sensitive.
No or very little travel likely.
Pay Range (USD)$43,350.00 - $58,650.00
Pay Transparency StatementThe salary range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum for salary for this position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, internal equity, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the range during the hiring process.
Additional CompensationHired applicant may be eligible to participate in the Company’s Gain Sharing Program.
