Quality Assurance Specialist II

Location: Remote

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Assignment Duration: 2 months

The Quality Assurance Specialist II supports quality review efforts across departmental processes and communications. This role ensures adherence to established policies, procedures, and standards through detailed review and analysis. The specialist collaborates with cross‑functional teams to identify quality issues, track discrepancies, and recommend process improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and compare output proofs (PDF/Word) against source documentation to identify discrepancies.
  • Log identified issues and submit tickets to IT for correction or follow‑up.
  • Maintain consistent quality standards and meet daily performance expectations (minimum of five reviews per day).
  • Ensure all reviews align with regulatory and organizational guidelines.
  • Work independently while maintaining open communication with the broader QA and correspondence teams.
  • Support the continuous improvement of processes, documentation, and member‑facing materials.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 3–5 years of quality assurance or related experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (required)
  • Experience with document comparison and quality control reviews
  • Familiarity with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes
  • Preferred: Background in healthcare or managed care environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage assigned workloads efficiently
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative approach to teamwork and process improvement
