Job Summary

The Quality Engineer I performs quality and validation risk assessment activities in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. This role typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform quality and validation risk assessment for changes to raw materials, materials in process, and finished products
  • Review and assess change controls (changes to SOP, batch records, equipment, and raw materials)
  • Review feasibility studies and DOE on manufacturing equipment and processes
  • Review and assess non-conformances with pFMEA guidelines

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of GMP, compliance to FDA and ISO regulations

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required

Required Experience

  • 0–2 years of experience

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

  • Exposure to human serum
  • Required PPE: lab coat, gloves, glasses, and shoe cover
