Job Summary
The Quality Engineer I performs quality and validation risk assessment activities in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. This role typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality and validation risk assessment for changes to raw materials, materials in process, and finished products
- Review and assess change controls (changes to SOP, batch records, equipment, and raw materials)
- Review feasibility studies and DOE on manufacturing equipment and processes
- Review and assess non-conformances with pFMEA guidelines
Required Skills
- Knowledge of GMP, compliance to FDA and ISO regulations
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
Required Experience
- 0–2 years of experience
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
- Exposure to human serum
- Required PPE: lab coat, gloves, glasses, and shoe cover
