Quality Control Technician Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Quality Control Technician, working closely with the project coordinator to ensure that program milestones are met with precision. You will play a crucial role in documenting and managing parts accurately, collaborating with the maintenance team, and conducting quality checks to uphold our high standards. Your work will primarily be computer‑based, with opportunities to engage with team members in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities- Submit and review submissions for program milestones.
- Ensure all parts are documented and accounted for accurately.
- Review, track, and maintain GMP documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Manage documentation workflows, including routing, filing, archiving, and retrieval of controlled records.
- Track move requests, work orders, and documentation status using electronic tracking systems and spreadsheets.
- Perform quality checks on records and documentation to ensure compliance with GMP standards and internal policies.
- Maintain accurate databases, records, and reports to support audits, inspections, and operational reviews.
- Experience in quality control and quality assurance.
- Proficiency with inspection tools and working in GMP environments.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Suite, especially Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in GMP and GDP environments.
- Comfortable providing email updates and working through Microsoft Teams.
- Ability to troubleshoot and inspect parts using calipers and calibration tools.
- Experience with documentation control systems and quality management systems.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in asset management systems, specifically Maximo Asset Management.
- Experience in reviewing documents and managing documentation workflows.
Work within a biotech manufacturing environment, primarily at your desk, but with opportunities to move around for collaboration. Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with flexibility for overtime as needed. Support the movement of equipment between designated locations.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of San Diego, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $31.01 - $31.01/hr.
