Volt is immediately hiring a Quality Engineer in San Diego, CA.
As a Quality Engineer, you will :
• Performing quality reviews and internal audits; evaluating data and writing reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
• Monitoring engineering processes and products for adherence to company and regulatory standards and practices; participating in quality improvement initiatives and projects.
• Analyzing statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and establish quality and reliability objectives of finished product.
• Recommending modifications to existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality.
• Conducting investigations and analyses which contribute to the development and implementation of methods, procedures, and equipment that ensure quality standards for parts and prime products.
• Participating in and offering technical support to internal and external audits; following up on response of corrective action from audit.
This is a full-time long-term, possible temp to hire opportunity.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday - 8am - 5pm, working onsite in San Diego. May have some flexibility to start earlier.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3-4 years of related experience with root cause corrective action analysis for product investigations
- MS Excel / Power BI for charts/trends analysis
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Can-do attitude, team building, initiative, proactive
- Ability to pass a 7-year criminal background and drug screen
Pay Rate*: $54.18 - $67.73 per hour DOE
* Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
