Job Details:
The Quality Technician 4 plays a key role in maintaining product integrity by performing intermediate-level quality control inspections and tests on materials, components, and finished products. Operating under moderate supervision, this position supports production and engineering teams by identifying, analyzing, and helping resolve quality issues to ensure compliance with internal standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications. This role performs receiving, in-process, final, and shipping inspections while maintaining inspection throughput to support site revenue and delivery commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspection & Verification
  • Conduct detailed inspections using precision instruments including calipers, micrometers, gauges, Keyence vision systems, microscopes, multi-meters, and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs).
  • Perform receiving, in-process, final, and shipping inspections in accordance with inspection plans, work instructions, and engineering drawings.
  • Inspect metal fabrication parts, electronic components, partially assembled electronic modules, and fully assembled modules.
  • Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and generate complete and accurate FAI reports.
  • Execute incoming material inspections per SAP-defined sampling plans and verify Certificates of Conformance (CoC).
Documentation & Nonconformance Management
  • Accurately document inspection results and maintain quality records in accordance with quality procedures.
  • Identify, document, and quarantine nonconforming material using established processes (e.g., SAP Quality Notifications, discrepancy logs).
  • Communicate inspection findings clearly to production, assembly, and engineering teams.
In-Process & Final Quality Support
  • Provide real-time inspection feedback to assembly and production teams to prevent escapes and reduce rework.
  • Support final and shipping inspections in alignment with production schedules and delivery priorities.
  • Ensure smooth movement of product and inventory between quality, production, testing, and warehouse areas.
Continuous Improvement & Problem Solving
  • Participate in root cause analysis and support corrective and preventive action (CAP
