A well-established and growing real estate firm in San Diego is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support its expanding portfolio. With a strong local market presence and a long track record of successful property operations and acquisitions, this firm offers a dynamic environment where you will play a key role in driving property performance and tenant satisfaction.

- Manage day-to-day operations for the assigned portfolio of properties
- Oversee the physical condition and financial performance of assigned assets
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with tenants, vendors, and internal teams
- Coordinate vendor services, maintenance programs, and service contracts
- Prepare and manage annual operating budgets; track performance against forecasts
- Conduct regular property inspections and address maintenance or safety concerns
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and internal policies
- Support asset management teams with operational insights and tenant needs
- 3 years of prior retail property management experience
- Experience using Yardi or a comparable property management system (e.g., MRI)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Working knowledge of property operations, budgeting, and vendor management
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple properties and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with CAM reconciliations, tenant billing, and lease administration
$90,000 - $110,000*
* The above represents the lowest to highest expected salary range for this job opening upon hire.
