Research Data Analyst

Leidos tackles the most challenging national defense problems using advanced signal processing algorithms and data analytics. • Work with a mentor to develop cutting edge radar signal processing and analysis algorithms for National Defense
• Work with a mentor to research cutting edge algorithms for radar noise reduction, detection, and characterization
• Work with a mentor to conduct radar data analysis
• Create efficient implementations in software
• Document results
• Work collegially within a talented team of peers

• BS degree in physics, engineering, mathematics, or related field
• Interest in scientific algorithm development, large dataset analysis, radar detection and characterization, and efficient software implementation.
• Good analytical and mathematical skills
• Demonstrated experience in MATLAB, Python, or similar high-level language
• Interested in innovation, problem solving, and achieving technical results
• Ability and desire to learn new concepts
• Able to obtain a Top Secret security clearance

• Some Experience with Radar data processing
• Some Experience programming in C/C++
• Ability to document work

Pay Range: $57,850.00 - $
