Bioanalytical Intern

THE COMPANY

Bio Qual Solutions is a bioanalytical Service lab based in San Diego, California. We specialize in high-sensitivity LC-MS/MS quantitation of small molecules, peptides, and oligonucleotides to support both non-GLP and GLP studies.

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Bioanalytical Intern to join our laboratory team. This hands‑on internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in a fast‑paced regulated laboratory environment. Working alongside experienced scientists, you will assist with sample preparation, laboratory maintenance, and learn the fundamentals of LC-MS/MS analysis.

• Sample Prep:
  Assist with basic bioanalytical sample extraction (e.g., protein precipitation).
• Lab Operations:
  Prepare mobile phases/buffers, manage chemical inventory, and support general lab maintenance.
• Documentation:
  Maintain accurate, thorough records in laboratory notebooks.
• Project Support:
  Help scientific staff with routine instrument checks and daily workflows.

• Education:
  
  Currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline (Upperclassmen preferred).
• Lab
  
  Skills:
  
  Basic familiarity with pipettes, centrifuges, and standard lab equipment.
• Attributes:
  Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and eager to learn.
• Availability:
  Able to commit to 15–20 hours per week (flexible around class schedules).
