What if your years of chemistry expertise could directly shape how AI reasons through some of the most complex scientific problems in the world? We're looking for Chemistry Masters and PhDs to design, solve, and evaluate advanced chemistry problems that train cutting-edge AI models to think like scientists.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for serious chemistry experts. No AI background needed — just deep domain knowledge and a passion for scientific rigor.

What You’ll Do
  • Design complex, real-world chemistry problems spanning organic, inorganic, physical, or computational chemistry
  • Solve and review advanced problems to ensure scientific accuracy, depth, and clarity
  • Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to enhance AI reasoning capabilities
  • Apply computational tools and chemical knowledge to create problems that push AI to its limits
  • Ensure all deliverables meet a high standard of scientific rigor and precision
Who You Are
  • Holder of a Master’s or PhD in Chemistry or a closely related field
  • Deeply knowledgeable in one or more of: organic, inorganic, physical, or computational chemistry
  • Comfortable working with Python or computational chemistry software (e.g., Gaussian, VASP)
  • An exceptional written communicator who can explain complex concepts with clarity
  • Naturally detail-oriented with a methodical, rigorous approach to scientific problems
  • Fluent in English
Nice to Have
  • Prior experience with data annotation, data quality, or AI evaluation workflows
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts or AI research
  • Experience writing or reviewing scientific content for educational or research purposes
  • Background in curriculum design, science communication, or academic publishing
