Lab Technician, Neuroscience Biomarkers Immunoassays

Job Title

Pay Range: $33.73hr - $38.73hr

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S) in Science, Engineering, or Technical subjects.
• 3+ years of experience in a Biological/Chemistry discipline.
• Prior experience with sample handling.
• Experience with NuLisa, ELISA, and/or Simoa.
• Experience with AKTA chromatography.
• Excellent computer proficiency including MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Graphpad Prism.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision to meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to run data on human plasma.

• Create and validate assays, execute them, and plan experiments.
• Implement immunoassays on clinical samples using platforms including plate ELISA, Simoa, Meso Scale, and NuLisa.
• Maintain equipment and ensure laboratory safety by identifying problems and completing regular evaluations.
• Participate in tracking biological and medical samples.
• Develop biochemical biomarkers for disease diagnosis, stratification, and measurement of target engagement.
• Conduct and interpret translation of research to human clinical trials.
• Lead lab-based translational medicine projects.
• Contribute to clinical research studies including data analysis and quality control.
• Support study design and protocol development.
• Monitor proper recording of information and review data to draw appropriate conclusions.

• MA/MS degree in a Biological/Chemistry discipline.
• PhD degree.
• Chromatography experience.
