Role:
Scientist I in Analytical and Formulation at Avidity Biosciences, focusing on clinical and commercial formulation development of RNA Therapeutics, specifically Antibody Oligonucleotide Conjugates (AOCs).Responsibilities

• design and execute stability and in-use compatibility studies for mAb and AOC liquid and lyophilized forms;
• support develop ability assessments of early-stage biologics;
• perform routine laboratory tasks;
• collaborate with vendors;
• support process development activities;
• train personnel;
• manage instrumentation;
• document data;
• present findings.

• PhD in chemistry, biology, pharmaceutical sciences, or related field;
• hands-on experience with analytical and biophysical characterization of biologics including SEC, IEX, RP-HPLC, CE-SDS, cIEF, light scattering;
• proficiency in formulation study design (DOE, JMP);
• strong communication and teamwork skills.

familiarity with mass spectrometry for mAb stability and ADC characterization, lyophilization, oligonucleotide chemistry, working with CMOs/CROs, managing direct reports.
