Job Summary

• Perform and support flow cytometry experiments following established protocols while developing expertise in immunology research, flow cytometry, and panel design best practices
• Prepare biological samples, cell cultures, reagents, controls, and instrument setups per established laboratory procedures
• Collect, organize, and analyze flow cytometry and related experimental data
• Assist in optimizing staining panels, sample preparation methods, and assay workflows under guidance from senior team members
• Maintain accurate laboratory records, study documentation, and experimental reports
• Contribute to scientific presentations, technical reports, application notes, posters, and customer-facing materials
• Conduct literature searches and summarize scientific findings relevant to ongoing projects
• Collaborate with R&D, Marketing, Product Management, and Scientific Applications teams to support product development and commercialization
• Support internal/external studies generating evidence of product performance and application utility
• Maintain compliance with company policies, training requirements, and laboratory safety procedures
• Promote a safe work environment through active participation in EHS programs

Pay rate: $60/hr

Scientist II in the Scientific Applications team supports the generation of scientific data and customer-facing collateral to help drive successful commercialization of client Biosciences products. Working under the guidance of senior scientists, this role contributes to flow cytometry studies, product evaluations, scientific collaborations, and application development activities across reagent and instrument platforms. This is an onsite role, 5 days/week, ideal for candidates with foundational laboratory experience and a strong interest in immunology and flow cytometry.

• 0-2 years of relevant laboratory experience
• Hands‑on laboratory experience through academic research, internships, industry positions, or equivalent
• Exposure to flow cytometry, immunology, cell culture, molecular biology, or related laboratory techniques - preferred
• Experience with BD flow cytometers - preferred, not required

• Flow cytometry experimental design and execution
• Data analysis software (e.g., Flow Jo or similar platforms) - desirable
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Laboratory execution and attention to detail
• Scientific communication and reporting
• Project and deadline management

• Bachelor's degree in Immunology, Cell Biology, Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, or related life science field
• Basic understanding of immunology and experimental design principles
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
