Job Title:
Chef de Cuisine

Salary | Full-Time | $75,000–$90,000

We’re seeking a driven, detail-oriented Chef de Cuisine to lead daily culinary operations. This role is ideal for a hands‑on kitchen leader who thrives on menu development, team mentorship, cost control, and delivering consistently elevated dishes. Working closely with the Executive Chef, the CDC plays a key role in both creative direction and operational performance.

What It Takes To Succeed
  • Lead daily kitchen operations, ensuring quality, consistency, and execution at every station
  • Oversee food preparation, freshness, pars, plating standards, and health compliance
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu development and product specifications
  • Control food cost, manage waste, and maintain budget accountability
  • Monitor inventory, order guides, invoice coding, and cost sheets
  • Supervise, schedule, and develop BOH team members through structured training and weekly check‑ins
  • Conduct pre‑shift meetings and maintain clear communication with culinary and management teams
  • Oversee dry‑age program, specialty items, and all recipe and procedural documentation
  • Drive revenue through menu analysis, BOH incentive programs, and upselling initiatives
  • Ensure accurate payroll review, overtime control, and labor management
  • Maintain accountability for closing procedures, operational standards, and company policies
Education & Experience
  • Minimum 3+ years of culinary leadership experience
  • Strong background in cost controls, yield management, and kitchen financials
  • Experience leading and developing high‑performing culinary teams
  • Proficiency with POS systems and kitchen inventory tools
  • Culinary degree (AOS) preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑expectation environment
