Overview

Bird Rock Coffee Roasters is hiring at our cafe on UCSD campus, right next to the Open Air Theater and trolley station. Part or full time positions are available. We are focused on coffee, people, and positive community involvement. We are looking for positive and energetic team-players with outstanding service skills who are driven and passionate about coffee and people. Bird Rock Coffee Roasters has an extensive training program where you will learn from some of the best.

• Have a love and passion for coffee and people!
• Greet and interact with all customers ensuring everyone leaves with an elevated experience
• Maintain a positive demeanor in a busy environment where multi-tasking, cleaning, and effective communication are requirements.
• Prepare batch brew, pour over coffee & all crafted beverages/food items according to our standards of quality.
• Maintain coffee knowledge on all current offerings, and confidently communicate product information to customers.
• Share coffee passion and knowledge with the team by assisting with store coffee tastings
• Properly handle and maintain all coffee brewing equipment.
• Communicate with team members and management to solve problems and improve service.
