We are looking for a Store Associate to join our team at our location in South Park.

As a Store Associate, you'll be at the heart of our mission to provide high-quality products and exceptional service to our customers. This is a hands-on role where you'll assist with a variety of tasks to ensure our store runs smoothly and delivers a delightful shopping experience.

• Our store hours will range from 10-8pm Monday - Sunday, availability to do morning or afternoon shifts as needed
• Pay is starting at $17.75/hour
• 25-30% off all store purchases
• Weekend availability (Sat and Sun) is a must

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming customers with a smile and assisting them with their shopping needs.
• Ensure displays, refrigerator, freezer, bulk containers, shelves are fully stocked and rotated, following store merchandising guidelines and priorities set by Grocery Manager
• Ensure all orders are received per store procedures.
• Maintain receiving, storage and display areas in clean, orderly and efficient conditions.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe store environment.
• Operating the cash register and handling transactions accurately.
• Supporting your teammates and contributing to a positive, collaborative work atmosphere.
• Ensure bins, displays and shelves are fully stocked and rotated, use store merchandising guidelines.
• Break down boxes for recycling regularly. Take out recycling and trash as needed.
• Follow system to check sell-by dates on an ongoing basis. Handle products close to sell-by dates according to procedure or instructions
• Resolve customer complaints in a fair and tactful manner

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

• 1 year of experience in a customer service or retail setting is preferred but we encourage you to apply even if you don't have experience.
• A friendly, approachable demeanor and excellent communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a knack for keeping things organized.
• Good open communication.
• Demonstrated ability to follow through on commitments.
• Team player willing to take responsibility and jump in when needed.
• A proactive attitude and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Open and close the store; manage daily cash handling and POS operations

• Complete a food service safety handler’s exam (provided)
• Curious about sustainability
• Experience in customer service is a must
• Ability to lift heavy bulk bags (25-50 or more lbs) and be on your feet for extended hours
• Food handlers certification will be required
