• Provide excellent customer service to bakery shoppers.
• Assist customers with bakery purchases and special orders.
• Clean shelving, display cases, and self‑serve displays inside the bakery area.
• Help the baker determine which items require baking or decorating.
• Clean the department by hosing down floors with soap and water.
• Read and follow simple written instructions, product labels, pricing codes, and shelf tags.
• Write simple correspondence as needed.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small‑group settings.
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, often up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.

• Basic PC/Outlook skills
• Retail Management Certificate

• Age 16‑17
• Food Handler Card or equivalent certification
• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, lift, and perform visual/auditory tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
