Clear Desk is a fast-growing Operational Relief Partner that connects U.S. small and mid-sized businesses with rigorously vetted remote talent from the Philippines and India. With a 0.5% candidate acceptance rate, we don’t just fill seats—we place top-tier professionals who integrate seamlessly into our clients’ operations across Home Health Care, Home Services, and Bookkeeping & Accounting. We’re approaching $15M in revenue and scaling fast.
The RoleWe’re looking for a high-energy Sales Development Representative who thrives on building relationships—both in person and over the phone. This is not a sit-behind-a-screen-all-day role.
You’ll split your time between prospecting from our San Diego office, attending industry events across Southern California and the U.S., and making in-person visits to potential clients. If you love the hustle of opening doors and being the first voice a prospect hears, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do- Research and identify high-potential prospects in our target verticals (Home Health Care, Home Services, Bookkeeping & Accounting).
- Execute daily cold calls, emails, and Linked In outreach to generate qualified meetings for the sales team.
- Manage and nurture your pipeline in Hub Spot (or similar CRM), keeping every touchpoint logged and every follow-up scheduled.
- Represent Clear Desk at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events across the U.S.
- Attend local meetups, association chapters, and business events throughout San Diego and Southern California.
- Conduct on-site office visits with prospective clients to build trust and demonstrate our value proposition firsthand.
- Partner closely with Account Executives and marketing to refine messaging and target the right accounts.
- Provide real-time feedback from the field to sharpen our go-to-market strategy.
- Track activity metrics and pipeline health weekly, contributing to our company-wide scorecard.
- 1–3 years of experience in a sales development, business development, or inside sales role.
- Proven experience using a CRM to manage outreach and pipeline (Hub Spot experience is a strong plus).
- Comfortable with cold calling, cold emailing, and walking into a room where you don’t know anyone.
- Willingness to travel domestically for events and client visits (estimated 20–30% travel).
- Based in or willing to relocate to the San Diego, CA area.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills—you can hold a room and hold a phone call equally well.
- Self-starter mentality with a bias toward action. You don’t wait to be told what to do.
- Experience with Hub Spot CRM, including sequences, workflows, or deal pipelines.
- Familiarity with outbound tools like Clay, Instantly, Apollo, or Linked In Sales Navigator.
- Background in staffing, outsourcing, home health care, home services, or B2B SaaS sales.
- Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment where you wore multiple hats.
- Ground-floor opportunity at a rapidly scaling company—your impact will be visible and rewarded.
- A product that sells itself: our 0.5% acceptance rate and industry-leading retention rates make conversations easier.
- Competitive base salary + commission structure.
- Travel opportunities to major industry events across the country.
- Collaborative, no-ego culture built on the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS)— clear goals, clear accountability, clear growth paths.
