Key Responsibilities- Develop and grow rental revenue through proactive prospecting, relationship-building, and targeted outreach within the greater San Diego area.
- Manage an assigned customer base while continuously seeking new opportunities with contractors, industrial clients, and local businesses.
- Promote a wide range of rental equipment to meet customer needs.
- Oversee the full rental process: quoting, contract preparation, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring seamless execution from start to finish.
- Expand business by targeting competitor accounts, cross-selling equipment categories, and identifying new project opportunities.
- Maintain consistent communication with customers, responding to rental requests quickly and professionally.
- Represent the company in a polished and professional manner.
- Work independently - starting your day from home, managing your own schedule, and focusing on results rather than micromanagement.

- 3+ years of proven outside sales experience, preferably within equipment rentals
, construction equipment
, or a related industry. - Strong understanding of customer operations, rental cycles, fleet management, and jobsite needs.
- Self‑motivated, disciplined, and driven to build a large and profitable customer base.
- Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to identify opportunities, close business, and exceed revenue goals.
- Comfortable using digital tools (Google Docs, CRM, mobile apps) for quotes and rental processing.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
