Associate, Data and Technology Sales

Step Stone Group is looking for an Associate in Data and Technology Sales to help grow their technology platform. This role involves acquiring new clients and optimizing sales processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in selling data solutions to institutional investors and will work closely with marketing and product teams to drive success.

• Build and manage a pipeline of potential institutional clients.
• Conduct outreach and discovery calls to engage prospects.
• Deliver product demos and manage the evaluation process.
• Collaborate with marketing to create targeted campaigns.
• Provide feedback on market needs and competitive landscape.
• Maintain accurate records in Salesforce.

• At least 3 years in sales or business development, ideally in private markets.
• Experience selling data or analytics solutions to institutional investors.
• Strong understanding of private markets and LP reporting.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
• Analytical skills for sales reporting and forecasting.
