ASI Hastings is seeking a Comfort Advisor to help homeowners and businesses choose the right HVAC solutions. In this customer-facing sales role, you'll visit residential and light commercial sites, assess comfort and efficiency needs, and recommend heating and cooling systems, indoor air quality products, and maintenance plans. You'll prepare proposals, explain options clearly, and coordinate with installation and service teams. The ideal candidate has HVAC or construction knowledge, strong communication and consultative sales skills, and a commitment to safety, honesty, and superior local service.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-home and on-site comfort consultations for residential and light commercial customers
- Assess existing HVAC systems, comfort issues, and energy efficiency needs
- Recommend appropriate heating, cooling, and indoor air quality solutions
- Prepare clear, detailed proposals and present financing or service plan options
- Educate customers on system features, benefits, and maintenance requirements
- Coordinate with installation and service teams to ensure accurate project execution
- Track leads, follow up with prospects, and maintain customer relationships
- Use basic load calculations and sizing principles to match systems to needs
- Adhere to safety standards, company procedures, and local codes
- Represent ASI Hastings with professional, honest, customer-first service
