Sales Manager

The Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation of all business objectives to drive commercial sales for the company.

The key duties include Account Management, Account Development, Management of Brokers, New Business Development, and Sales Reporting. The Sales Manager will also work with other cross-functional teams such as customer service, finance, and marketing to ensure that all functions are linked properly, and opportunities are executed and tracked.

• Identify opportunities by channel and build business cases to support investment.
• Develop strong understanding of company products, procedures, services, and abilities to help guide customers and build business.
• Manage current book of business across Retail and Food service.
• Help develop sales forecast and demand planning and coordinate with regular Sales/Ops meetings.
• Coordinate regular reporting of business by channel including monthly recaps, quarterly business reviews, and Sales Force reporting.
• Help problem solve for freight logistics to support account sales.
• Monitor key industry trends, competitors, and customers to proactively keep us informed of any developments.
• Project manage new sales initiatives for both internal and external opportunities.
• Help implement price changes in the system with finance team and customer support.
• Attend trade shows for each channel and develop relationships with key customers.
• Collaborate with other departments on key needs and help track budgeted investments and return on investments.

Annual Compensation: $125K - $150K. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity.
