What You Will Do in This Role?

The Beds and Therapeutic Surfaces Sales Specialist is responsible for driving strategic sales growth within an assigned territory by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities. This role develops and executes territory plans centered around Agiliti Specialty Equipment Solutions as part of the Equipment Value Management (EVM) framework, including rentals, on-site managed programs, and clinical engineering services supporting:

  • Fall prevention
  • Bariatric safety
  • Early mobility
Key Responsibilities Territory & Business Development
  • Develop and execute annual and quarterly territory plans aligned to long-term growth objectives
  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within assigned accounts
  • Maintain a strong understanding of territory dynamics, market trends, and competitive positioning
  • Effectively manage time, resources, and customer priorities to maximize sales performance
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage opportunities, forecast activity, and execute territory strategies
  • Leverage Territory Executives and cross-functional experts to drive growth initiatives
Customer-Focused Selling
  • Adapt sales approach and messaging based on customer needs and purchasing processes
  • Build and maintain relationships with hospital administrators, clinical leaders, and operational stakeholders
  • Conduct regular customer visits, account reviews, and business reviews
  • Deliver compelling presentations that communicate value and address customer challenges
  • Resolve customer concerns while consistently meeting commitments and exceeding expectations
  • Coordinate internal resources to ensure successful execution of customer solutions
Insight Selling & Solution Development
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of customer challenges and business priorities
  • Translate solution benefits into meaningful operational, financial, and clinical outcomes
  • Utilize Challenger Sales methodologies and consultative selling techniques
  • Deliver actionable insights that help customers improve workflows, safety, and overall performance
Equipment Value Management (EVM)
  • Articulate how the EVM framework improves equipment workflows, enhances patient experiences, reduces costs, and supports quality outcomes
  • Maintain expertise across Agiliti's specialty equipment solutions and service offerings
  • Stay current on product knowledge, industry trends, and sales training initiatives
What You Will Need for This Role?

Required Qualifications
  • BS/BA degree required; focus in clinical discipline preferred
  • Specialty equipment (patient handling, wound care, bariatric, etc.) sales experience
  • 2+ years healthcare sales or related experience required
  • Experience working in a team-based selling environment preferred
  • Previous experience selling services is preferred
  • Must be available to travel up to 60%
  • Must hold a current, valid, and unrestricted driver's license
  • Must have a safe driving record based on Agiliti policies

  • Demonstrated drive, persistence, resilience, and accountability to achieve sales goals
  • Ability to anticipate challenges and proactively identify opportunities
  • Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and follow-through
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders at multiple levels within healthcare organizations
  • Skilled in presenting solutions using Challenger Sales methodologies, whiteboarding, and virtual selling tools
  • Ability to build strong cross-functional partnerships
  • Working knowledge of sales incentive plans, budgeting, and profit-and-loss concepts
  • Strong understanding of clinical equipment used in hospital environments
  • Knowledge of hospital finance, reimbursement, regulatory requirements, and patient safety practices
  • Commitment to high standards of performance, quality, and professionalism
