We currently have a role available for a Pharma Mass Spectrometry Biochemist at our La Jolla site.
Job Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To- Performing intact mass analysis for final products and walk‑in sample requests.
- Executing ESI‑MS (Waters) and MALDI‑MS (Bruker) workflows.
- Conducting deglycosylation and reduction workflows to support structural interpretation.
- Utilizing and troubleshooting LC‑MS (Agilent), SEC, SEC‑MALS (Wyatt/Waters) and other analytical instrumentation.
- Using and maintaining LIMS for sample tracking and data entry.
- BS in Biochemistry, Chemistry or related field with 2+ years' industry experience or MS with 0‑1 year industry experience in a mass‑spec. focused lab. Academic research may be considered.
- Team player mentality with strong written and verbal communication skills. Must have good organizational skills and be detail oriented.
- The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and self‑motivated, with the strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills necessary to operate effectively in a fast‑paced multidisciplinary environment with flexibility and an adaptable approach to goal delivery.
