About the Role:

Employed through a preferred contingent supplier to support projects on-site or off-site for Neurocrine. ## Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):
* Independently perform rodent stereotaxic surgeries (mouse and rat), including intracranial injections to support
* in vivo
* pharmacology studies
* Execute assigned
* in vivo
* PK/PD and efficacy studies in support of nonclinical and clinical-stage programs in neurology and endocrinology
* Administer small-molecule compounds and biologics to rodents via multiple routes (PO, IP, SC, IV) according to study protocols
* Handle, monitor, and dose animals throughout studies, including collection of body weight, clinical observations, and sample collection
* Perform tissue dissection and biospecimen collection following established protocols to ensure sample quality and consistency
* Strictly adhere to study protocols, SOPs, IACUC procedures, and animal welfare policies to ensure regulatory compliance and data integrity
* Accurately collect, record, and organize experimental data in laboratory notebooks, databases, and study reports
* Identify technical issues or data inconsistencies and promptly communicate findings to study leads or supervisors
* Support troubleshooting efforts and implement corrective actions under guidance
* Work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative research team in a fast-paced environment
* Perform all duties in accordance with company policies, core values, and applicable safety and quality standards
* Other duties as assigned## Requirements:
* BS/BA in biological sciences (e.g., neuroscience, pharmacology, biopsychology, or related field) with hands-on experience working with rodents in an industry or contract research laboratory OR
* MS/MA in biological sciences with relevant in vivo laboratory experience
* Demonstrated hands-on experience with rodent stereotaxic surgery required
* Experience administering compounds to rodents via multiple routes (PO, IP, SC, IV)
* Experience with rodent handling, dosing, and execution of
* in vivo
* studies* Experience with tissue dissection and biospecimen collection
* Ability to recognize experimental or technical issues and escalate appropriately
* Working knowledge of
* in vivo
* pharmacology principles and laboratory best practices
* Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow established protocols
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a team-oriented environment
* Willingness to work independently under general supervision
* Flexibility to support occasional weekend work#LI-LS1
