Overview

Project Assistant (PA) / Project Coordinator (PC) in Biosciences — La Jolla Institute for Immunology (LJI).

Location:

9420 Athena Cir, La Jolla, CA 92037, USA.

• Coordinate overall project activity for multiple grants and contracts, and communicate information on the status of project activities both internally and externally.
• Document progress via regular status reports and manage logistics for meetings, presentations, and seminars.
• Establish and manage budgets; prepare and submit IRB documents and manuscripts for scientific publications and conferences.
• Assist with the clinical database and support regulatory activities across multidisciplinary teams.
• Collaborate with the Vaccine Discovery team and contribute to project management and operational workflow.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in immunology, microbiology, biochemistry, or a related science field
• Programming in software languages is a plus

Skills:

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
• Ability to work with a diverse group of people
• Software programming experience is a plus
