Clinical Research Associate
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Research Associate to join our team. This role involves working on-site in San Diego, California, where you will be responsible for various research activities including site visits, data verification, and protocol compliance.
Responsibilities- Conduct pre-study, initiation, routine monitoring, and closeout visits.
- Train study investigators and staff.
- Prepare detailed site visit reports.
- Verify data consistency and ensure timelines and deliverables for data collection are met.
- Manage the query resolution process.
- Report any protocol deviations and ensure compliance with ICH/GCP/local regulations.
- Develop and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Track and report study progress.
- Collect, review, and track essential documents.
- Upload documents into the electronic Trial Master File (eTMF).
- Plan and prepare training materials.
- Manage Investigational Product (IP) inventory.
- Ensure proper collection and shipment of laboratory specimens.
- Minimum of 1.5 years of monitoring experience, ideally at least 3 years.
- Experience in oncology is essential.
- Familiarity with Phase 1-3 clinical trials.

This is a fully on-site position in San Diego, California, requiring presence 5 days a week. While there is no flexibility for hybrid work, the hours can be adjusted between 7-4, 8-5, or 9-6 to suit individual needs.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of San Diego, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.00 - $65.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
