Job Description

• Monitors entrances and exits, preventing unauthorized entry; controls people and vehicle movement and parking; operates gates, examines vehicle contents; monitors remote entrances via CCTV; operates remote access devices.
• Patrols assigned site on foot or vehicle to ensure a secure environment; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, and blocked ingress/egress; inspects buildings and grounds with appropriate equipment.
• Prepares logs or reports; writes or types reports; enters information into a computer using standard grammar; inspects security control logs and takes required action per Client’s Global Security standards.
• Protects evidence or incident scenes, sets up barriers and signage, and provides direction or information.
• Responds to incidents (fire, medical, bomb threat, flooding, hazardous materials, inclement weather, etc.) following procedures and training level.
• Maintains Basic First Aid and CPR certifications.
• Ensures property removal complies with policy.
• Issues necessary Hot Work Permits.
• Carries out all responsibilities honestly, ethically, and professionally.
• Communicates openly, honestly, and responsively in all situations authorized.

Work Environment and Schedule

• Jobs operate on client sites both indoors and outdoors.
• Requires prolonged standing and walking during daily security activities.
• Open availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Work various shifts and holidays as assigned.
