Armed Security Officer – Vehicle Patrol North Star Security

Pay: $22-$24 per hour (based on experience & qualifications)

Shifts: Vary (day, swing, and overnight available)

We are seeking Armed Security Officers to conduct vehicle patrols at various residential communities throughout the San Diego area. Officers will be responsible for maintaining a visible presence, deterring criminal activity, responding to incidents, and ensuring the safety of residents and property.

• Conduct scheduled and random vehicle patrols of assigned residential properties
• Monitor for suspicious activity, trespassing, vandalism, or safety hazards
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and calls for service
• Write detailed incident and daily activity reports
• Interact professionally with residents, property management, and law enforcement when necessary
• Maintain a high level of situational awareness and readiness while on duty

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid California Guard Card issued by BSIS (Bureau of Security and Investigative Services)
• Valid California Exposed Firearm Permit issued by BSIS
• Valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Proof of U.S. work authorization
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
• Ability to work flexible shifts (days, nights, weekends, holidays)
• Prior armed security or law enforcement/military experience preferred
