** San Diego, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a dynamic operations location. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Working with agility, reliability, and integrity, you will contribute to a caring, team-focused environment while using technology and strong observation skills to support daily site operations.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting unusual activity and/or conditions.

+ Document incidents, observations, and/or routine activities in accordance with site procedures.

+ Communicate with site contacts, visitors, and/or local responders as needed regarding security-related concerns.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
