In this stationary post, you will help to monitor activity, handle security-related concerns with care, and deliver outstanding customer service. Our agile, reliable, and innovative team puts people first and acts with integrity every day.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

  • Saturday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
  • Sunday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
What You’ll Do:
  • Provide customer service to visitors, patients, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the front desk.
  • Monitor access to the location by checking in guests, verifying identification and/or credentials, issuing visitor passes, and documenting arrivals and departures according to site protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders when needed.
  • Answer phones, assist with directions and general inquiries, and support front desk operations with clear communication and professional presence.
  • Complete required logs, reports, and other documentation related to access control, incidents, and daily front desk activity.
Minimum Requirements:
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
